Adventurous Genuine Creative

Alaina Margaret Droog (she/her) is an Artist based in New York City. Born and raised in her beloved small-town home of Grafton, North Dakota, Alaina has always believed that life is nothing short of an incredible adventure. At the age of 7, she took her first guitar lesson in a church basement, and subsequently fell in love with music and the arts.  She is drawn to people, places, projects, and media that redefine traditional beliefs, push boundaries, and expand the scope of what was previously thought to be possible, through compassion, sincerity, and unadulterated joy.

Alaina recently graduated from Shenandoah Conservatory (Class of ‘23), with her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre under Program Director Kevin Covert. In addition she earned a Certificate in Songwriting.

When she’s not performing, Alaina is obsessively writing or editing one of her 700 original songs in her notes app, dyeing her hair a new shade of red, practicing Norwegian on DuoLingo, or simply sippin’ on a coffee, just happy to be here.
